(“POSH” or the “Group”), has commenced support for the Petronas Floating Liquefied Natural Gas 2 (“PFLNG Dua”) after securing two towage and positioning contracts that involve the deployment of four POSH vessels.

The PFLNG Dua is Petronas’ second FLNG unit with an annual production capacity of 1.5 million tonnes of LNG, and the world’s first FLNG vessel to operate in deep water.

The first contract sees two POSH 16,300 BHP vessels undertaking a tow of the PFLNG Dua from Geoje, South Korea, where it had been built, to the Rotan Gas Field in offshore Sabah, Malaysia, where it will be deployed. An additional third 16,000 BHP vessel will also be escorting the PFLNG Dua en route.

As part of the second offshore services contract, a fourth 16,000 BHP ‘C-class’ vessel will be deployed to join the convoy, where it will provide station-keeping services for the PFLNG Dua.

Both charters are expected to complete in early April. POSH is also overseeing the overall project management for the transportation and station-positioning leg of the project.

The contracts are undertaken by POSH’s newly launched Offshore Projects division, comprising a fleet of eight versatile and high-specification vessels including the 21,456 BHP Anchor Handling Tug vessel (“AHT”) POSH Teal with Dynamic Positioning (“DP2”) system.

Mr Eric Ng, Managing Director of Offshore Projects, POSH, said, “POSH is humbled to be supporting this momentous project, which will help address the world’s growing demand for clean-burning fossil fuel. We are confident that our quality fleet, deep experience and excellent track record will enable us to deliver on this highly technical job and many others to come.”

We have complete trust in Eric and his team, who have overseen and delivered many landmark towage and positioning projects for our sector including the Shell Prelude FLNG and Petronas Satu FLNG. The team is well-positioned to once again produce the optimal outcomes for PFLNG Dua.”

POSH Hardy joined POSH Husky to support the operations in the Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka following her successful charter at Chittagong

POSH Hardy and POSH Husky arrived in the Port of Colombo, Sri Lanka - one of the region's busiest ports - in late 2018. Since then, the two tugs have been on long-term charters to Sri Lanka Shipping, providing a range of harbour services including berthing, un-berthing, towing, and assisting duties.

To support the knowledge transfer to local crew, our Tug Masters and Engineers worked closely with our Sri Lankan counterparts, providing hands-on support and training for close to a month. Areas of training included Azimuth Stern Drive ("ASD") propulsion, navigational safety, and manoeuvring techniques during towage, escort, berthing and un-berthing.

The job followed a successful charter at Chittagong, Bangladesh, where POSH Hardy was commissioned to provide offshore support, as well as towing and assist duties at the Moheshkhali LNG Terminal, marking our first charter for offshore LNG terminal support. Together with two other tugs, POSH Hardy executed a Ship-To-Ship transfer for a Floating Storage Regasification Unit ("FSRU").

The aforementioned are amongst the several long-term charters POSH has secured of late for our harbour tugs, for operations in key ports in Asia, Middle East and Africa. In the coming year, we will continue to expand our geographical footprint in key growth markets in order to better serve our clients.

TAIWAN, 11 APRIL 2019 - POSH Kerry Renewables, Senior Manager Mr. Harry Wu and MIRDC, President Dr.Chiu-Feng Lin signed a memorandum of understanding ("MoU").

In April 2019, POSH Kerry Renewables ("POSH Kerry") was invited to partner with the Metal Industries Research & Development Centre ("MIRDC") to train local maritime talents in areas covering Dynamic Positioning ("DP") training, at Taiwan's first specialised Maritime Training Centre.

The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding ("MoU") with MIRDC - an agency under the umbrella of Taiwan's Ministry of Economic Affairs - to join leading maritime companies Maersk Training and DNV GL to develop professional courses across various specialities. These courses will uplift Taiwan's maritime capabilities by developing local expertise for both onshore and offshore talent.

The maritime training centre is scheduled for completion in 2020 and will be located within the vicinity of Shin Da Harbour in Kaohsiung.

Mr Kelvin Teo, Managing Director, POSH Kerry, said, "We are excited to contribute towards the establishment of Taiwan's first specialised Maritime Training Centre, especially in the area of DP training. In sharing our expertise and providing on-the-job training onboard our large fleet of DP offshore vessels, POSH Kerry will do its part in cultivating a pipeline of local talent who can anchor the government's plans to advance its offshore renewable energy and marine industries."

As a Taiwan-based integrated solutions provider, POSH Kerry is able to lend its expertise to develop DP training curriculum that are accredited by The Nautical Institute. The company will provide trainers for these courses, as well as offer attachment opportunities for trainees to serve as DP operators on our vessels. The partnership with MIRDC reaffirms POSH Kerry's commitment to supporting the offshore renewable energy and maritime development goals for Taiwan.

As a leading offshore marine player, POSH is continually looking to expand its scope of services to meet the dynamic needs of the offshore marine industry. In 2018, we expanded into the subsea space, leveraging off our diversified fleet to provide clients with an integrated suite of subsea services. These include support for subsea Inspection, Maintenance and Repair ("IMR"), and construction and installation works.

Shortly after its establishment, POSH Subsea was awarded its maiden to support the construction and installation works for a pipeline replacement project for a National Oil and Gas company off the west coast of India. The project was supported by PW Natuna - an accommodation barge that was re-purposed into a Dive Support Vessel ("DSV") for the job - and two Anchor Handling Tugs, Maritime Putri and Maritime Putra.

Equipped with advanced saturation ("SAT") and air dive systems as well as a Remote Operated Vehicle ("ROV"), PW Natuna operates as an installation vessel that allows subsea installation works in depths of up to 100 metres. The SAT system allows divers to work for up to 28 days by housing them in chambers pressurised to the depth of the worksite. A separate pressurised chamber is then deployed to transport them to and from the site.

In the first quarter of 2019, we clinched our second contract for POSH Subsea with a leading global integrated oil and gas services company. This contract is for spool installation and pipeline crossing works for a pipeline replacement project off the west coast of India.

As we continue to meet our clients' needs with our quality offerings, we hope that these service contracts are the first of many to come for POSH Subsea.

Participants gathered at this year's POSH/PCL Charity Walk at Gardens by the Bay East

At POSH, we believe that every employee should feel a sense of belonging to the community.

On 10 November 2018, we held our annual Charity Walk at Gardens by the Bay East, which gathered POSH and our sister company Pacific Carriers Limited ("PCL") employees as well as their family members and friends from our charity partners - SUN-DAC and CARE Singapore. PCL is a leading dry bulk operator and wholly-owned subsidiary of our parent company Kuok (Singapore) Limited.

The theme for the year was "Walk and Play for Charity 2018", aimed at creating a platform for all participants to interact meaningfully and have fun together.

We are proud to have raised a total of S$158,000 in support of SUN-DAC and CARE Singapore, KSL Changemakers' nominated charity partner. Unlike previous years, the 3-kilometre walk culminated in our first ever carnival filled with food, drinks and games. Together with CARE Singapore students, our employees helped to man the game stands, while SUN-DAC held an exhibition of the beautiful artworks done by their clients.

We would like to extend our gratitude to our friends, families, colleagues, vendors and charity partners for their unwavering support throughout the course of the planning and execution of this year's Charity Walk. It was a truly memorable event and we look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
